TDN started with three friends in Charleston SC, who shared a passion for sports and a simple idea: to create high-quality, custom athletic gear that teams could truly be proud of.
We saw a gap in the market—teams were either overpaying for their gear or settling for low-quality options. So, with nothing but a vision, a strong work ethic, and a deep love for competition, we set out to build something better.

I grew up in Vero Beach, Florida, but spent most of my free time with family in Charleston South Carolina, a place that became just as much a part of me as my hometown. After leaving law school, I founded Thread Da Needle (TDN), combining my passion for sports, quality gear, and entrepreneurship. My time as a rower at St. Lawrence University and the founder of the Sinful Saints Club Hockey team shaped my competitive spirit and love for athletics. Beyond business, I have a deep appreciation for the outdoors—whether it’s hiking, surfing, skiing or simply being outside, I’m always seeking new adventures. TDN is a reflection of that same drive, blending performance, passion, and innovation.

Growing up in Salem, NJ, I spent my childhood on the ice and lacrosse field, eventually playing D3 lacrosse at Lynchburg College. My passion for sports never waned, and I now play on a men's league hockey team in Charleston, SC. It was here that I met Tom, and together we founded Thread da Needle, driven by our shared love of the game. At Thread da Needle, I channel my sports enthusiasm into enhancing customer experience and targeting new markets. My focus is on maximizing the company's efficiency, ensuring rapid growth while maintaining the personal touch that sets us apart. Everything I do at Thread da Needle is fueled by my passion for sports, ensuring that athletes not only look great while playing but also stay comfortable.

TDN’s Roots: Starting with Beer League Hockey
When Thread Da Needle (TDN) first launched in 2023, we started where we knew best—beer league hockey. We saw that recreational and adult league teams wanted custom jerseys that looked and felt professional without the ridiculous price tag. So, we focused on delivering high-quality, fully customizable jerseys that stood out on the ice and held up through every game, beer-soaked celebration, and overtime battle.
Word spread fast. Beer league teams loved the premium materials, sharp designs, and easy ordering process, and before we knew it, we were outfitting teams across multiple leagues. This early success gave us the foundation to expand beyond hockey and start offering custom gear for teams in other sports, businesses, and organizations.
While TDN has grown far beyond its beer league roots, we’ll never forget where we started. We built our reputation by delivering top-tier gear for the guys and gals who play for the love of the game—and we’re still doing it today

What started as a passion project focused on hockey jerseys quickly evolved into something much bigger. As Thread Da Needle (TDN) grew, we saw an opportunity to bring our high-quality, customizable athletic gear to teams across all sports—from baseball and football to rowing, lacrosse, and beyond.
Driven by our commitment to performance, durability, and customization, we expanded our product line to ensure that every athlete—no matter their sport—had access to elite-level gear without the premium price tag. As Thread Da Needle (TDN) grew beyond hockey jerseys and into all sports, we recognized a growing demand for high-quality custom apparel—not just for game day, but for everyday wear. Teams, businesses, and organizations wanted more than just jerseys; they wanted custom gear that represented their brand, culture, and identity off the field as well.That’s when we decided to launch TDN Custom Apparel, expanding into hoodies, toques, warm-ups, hats, and more. Our goal was simple: provide the same elite-level quality, customization, and durability in every piece of apparel we create. Whether it’s a team looking for off-ice gear, a business wanting branded merchandise, or an organization needing stylish, functional apparel, TDN makes it happen.With a focus on premium materials, sharp designs, and a seamless ordering process, our custom apparel line has become an essential part of what we do.
